I need to buy a new one. I was making chili con Carne and I was opening a can of kidney beans and this happens. I need to buy a new one. I purchased this from Walgreen's 5 months ago. My previous can openers lasted for years but this one lasted for 3 months. The cogwheel splashed away to a place I can't see. I am planning to buy a new one later this afternoon. For now I will just use my knife to finish the can I am opening How long does your can openers lasted?

I stop using knives because I accidentally stabbed myself once. I am using an electric one now.

I wish I can find one that lasts longer. Maybe I have heavy hands that ruins can openers
