Laronda Marshall who worked as a nurse before she took her current work with the Miami Dade Transit company in Miami Florida is probably the most valuable employee in the company roster. Last Thursday while Laronda was riding her bus, a passenger alerted her that a man who was riding suddenly fell ill as he passed out. Laronda who admits that she is one person who would assist anyone who needed her help, stopped the bus to give the male passenger who passed out on the floor of the bus chest compressions and CPR until the paramedics arrived to take the man to a local hospital. The male passenger who was attended by Laronda is expected to make a full recovery from his illness that could have ended his life had Laronda not giving him first aid. In my view bus drivers are very underrated in terms of their good deeds being reported to the national media. At least Laronda has gained the admiration of her employer as one of their best employees in the company. I am sure Laronda will take compliment very kindly..

If all bus drivers were like Laronda, the world would be a great place to live.

Laronda is to be commended for saving the passenger's life. It's a blessing that she knew CPR.

that is wonderful that she could help and perhaps those that drive buses and other transportation types should know something about helping people medically

That should be a requirement for all bus drivers to learn first aid training.

Her experience in her previous line of work did save a life of a passenger who would have passed away if Laronda did not step up to treat him for his illness.
