Sugar Cane

I think we have plenty of memorable things during childhood. Back then as a kid, I had good times chewing the sweet fiber of the plant and then swallow its sap. We have some sugar cane planted in our front yard and if we like eating, we just grab and cut some stalks and then enjoy it. We even peel the stalk just using our teeth. It was one fun memory down the lane as I never experience the same thing after we transferred residence a very long time ago. Photo Credit: pixabay.com

This reminds me too of my childhood memory. I used to go with my peers in going to the sugar cane field during the harvest or cutting season.

Yes, I used to enjoy Sugar cane very much when I was a kid! Now , because of Diabetes I avoid that and more over now I got an experience of the oral cavity injured because of the sharp fibers it has when I tried it few years back!

I'm sorry to hear your condition. Yes, there are things that we cannot enjoy now because of restrictions.
