Seriously....

Okay... I get that there are different tastes when it comes to the artworld. Not every type of art will suit everyone.
However... I was referred by a friend that I have made on FAA to this website site where I could sell my artwork there, as well. It kind of resembles Zazzle, but with not as many options.
I was reviewing the type of artwork that was being sold on this website, and came across this artist that has done what they call the "The Color" series. Every print is done in just about every color your can think of...
However... This is all you see on every piece of artwork they have... No design. No image. Nothing. Just a blank piece of colored paper in every color that you can imagine.
Seriously??? This is considered art? Someone with absolutely no artistic skills could do this...
I am totally shocked that this is being passed off as art. LOL

When people say modern artist I used to feel that they have a work which is too weird and I used to laugh at the art and at the artists too. but having interact with them I gathered that we need to have different mind set and eye to understand the theme, which they mention in the title of the artwork!

I agree with everything you said. I used to hate abstract art, and now not only do I love it; I am creating it too! How's that for the pot calling the kettle black? LOL But I can't wrap my head around a blank colored piece of paper, and calling it art. Maybe one day I will, but I can't seem to right now.
