I Love Having Relatives Who Grow Their Own Vegetables.

My husband and i got a very nice surprise this week. My mother, who lives on a farm, had WAAAAAAY too many tomatoes this year, and she brought us a 30 pound bag full of them. I'm telling you, these are the best darn tomatoes I've ever tasted, and I will be sad when we run out. They are delicious and sweet, and she has completely ruined me for grocery store tomatoes. LOL We've been eating them on darn near everything, and loving them. She has neighbours who have chickens on their farms, and we get fresh farm eggs for $2 a dozen. My best friend and I are always buying eggs from Mom's neighbours. Any of you lucky enough to live on or near a farm? What's your favourite thing to get? We love being able to get fresh food from the farm, rather than supporting the big companies that will just load it with pesticides, and over charge.
