Why Not Kill for It's Free?

Many have already been reported hospitalized and even met their untimely death recently.
Everybody is worrying this unhealthy scenario of victimizing the children and the adult by this dreaded tiny creatures.
Killing them is free. The dragonflies could take them down by hundreds in an hour. But the people seems to neglect them. Dragonflies couldn't do that practicality for they're seasonal insects.
This culprit is Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito that can spread dengue fever, chikungunya, Zika fever, Mayaro and yellow fever viruses, and other disease agents.
This mosquito seems hard to decimate totally. As I said killing it is free but it doesn't work.
What should be the appropriate move to eradicate it?

They are prolific breeders and they can easily survive any conditions for their offsprings to survive and grow. It is hard for them to eradicate for as long as there are open stagnant water around they will breed there and multiply. Although there are lots of ways to eradicate them like sprays, fogging and even frogs are being used to combat them but they are just everywhere.

You're right but those solutions are inconsistent. They're not sustainable.

@Nakitakona That is how mosquitoes are really that prolific to survive and thrive in our world.

@rsa101 But they could be controlled. It's the attitude that requires the commitment to eradicate the breeding places of mosquitoes.

In my country, the malaria was eradicated from a wide zone by drying swamps. Still waters are breeding places for mosquitoes.

@Nakitakona That was done here over 70 years ago. Probably now there would be other considerations.

Yeah, that's the solution but here in our country the
people are very lukewarm to do it.

@marguicha Due to too much politicking.

Why not just leave them be?
People do worse to each other but we don't talk about eradicating them them--though we do every day in every city!

But the danger of everyone's health is at stake. It should never be left behind or unattended

The most difficult enemy are the small creatures. There is no way to eradicate mosquitoes unless the government launches an all out war.

You may have the point but it seems anything in our country is being politicized.

I agree, my friend. Politics always gets in the play so the work is always half-done.

@Alexandoy That's the reality. And we may call it - politics in action.

I think besides dragonflies we should put up a spider, toad and frog, lizard breeding farms and let them all loose in areas were it's becoming an epidemic, nature should balance itself.

Hoping so and we're crossing our fingers for it falls into the deaf ear of the agency concerned.
