A high school cheerleader saves a 2 year old child from choking

My respects go to Rockwall High School cheerleader Tyra Winters who took time off from her duties during a homecoming parade to assist a 2 year old boy named Clarke who was choking on a piece of candy earlier last month. Tyra credits her mother who runs a group home for foster children to teach her how to use first aid on anyone who needs help like Clarke did when he was choking on his piece of candy. Nicole Hornback who is the mother of Clarke tried to get the attention of the crowd to see if anyone there could save her child from dying. Thank goodness Tyra who wants to be a pediatric surgeon after her graduation from high school took the time to save a child. Both Nicole and Tyra did have a meeting at the high school recently to thank her for saving her son's life. Tyra being the modest young lady that she is just thankful that she was able to answer the call of duty during a parade. Just remind me not to think of cheerleaders are pretty girls on the sidelines. They can save our lives one day.
