I Need to be More Decisive

Do you find yourself changing your mind most of the time? Are you easily influenced by family, friends, books, videos, quotations, anything?
I find I have so many considerations before arriving at a decision. And then I change it the next day. It's exhausting to be honest.
It must feel so good to be certain, unwavering. I'm just glad I found minimalism because it taught me to live with intention. I have some withdrawal symptoms, sometimes I get panic attack from all the space and time available,it's funny.
But this is a journey. Looking forward...

Are you getting withdrawals from medications? I get alot of racing thoughts so i know the feeling.

@yoalldudes when i had withdrawals i got the flu and shocking feelings. I would feel like i am getting shocked. I know how you feel.

@Ladanger When I miss taking my meds for a night, the following day I would feel the shocks which maybe is similar to what you are experiencing.

Yes, some memory lapses, weakness, blurred eyesight and foggy brain. The meds take care of racing thoughts. But I am very weak in dealing with life issues. I retreat to my room and comfort myself.

Keep it simple is my motto. People will make everything complicated. I keep friends to a minimum and material stuff, plus I am poor so that comes easy but I could be worse. Some people have good intentions, but they do make you second guess everything you do. Now in then its a good thing to make sure you thinking right, but most times its like get away from me and let me decide.

@yoalldudes I am sure you already have it and will know when to let it loose, Its smart to very careful these days. Eventually people will know better and just let you decide your own thing. Its always been the best line that works for me because people think they can manipulate me. I go I was in the Marines where they smash you, make you feel like zero and try to build you up in their light. That did not work the way they wanted, so what makes you think your little manipulative ways is going to work on me now. OK you are right, I am sorry, had to try type stuff.

@yoalldudes I know what you mean. The thought of changing careers can be really scary. I have considered going back to school or doing something different and I'm scared. It's a huge decision.

I used to be easily influenced but coming to Israel on my own has helped me make my own decisions. I am still not sure about some things though.

@yoalldudes In a sense. But instead of the "You only live once.. let's live it up!!" route, I go down the "..oh damn, we only live once.. better make it as good as I can..". Over-thinking is the bane of my existence!
