when your child comes out of the closet

I knew somewhere in middle school, my first born might be gay. I didn’t care. I just wanted her happy. She finally admitted to being bi sexual and I told her I loved her and supported her. She’s shy and doesn’t know how to meet people that she’s interested in. She is in college now and commutes.

Just tell her to be herself, she will meet the right person one day. One of my friends is gay and almost made a very bad mistake. Because he didn't want others to know and to make everyone happy, he almost married a woman that he had been dating for a while.Thank goodness he finely realized that he would be miserable and called off the wedding. A few years later, he met the love of his life, him and his partner have been together for over 10 years now.
