I broke one of them...

On one of my errands today, I stopped where I got my glasses, hoping to get them both repaired. Unfortunately, I was told that on one of them, the frame was completely broken. I thought that the screw had just come out, but looking again, I saw that the screw was still in it. I was bummed, but at least the pair I have left is the one I preferred of the two. As far as the one that broke, I wish I'd gotten larger frames where the eye pieces were concerned. I will definitely have to be careful with the pair I have left.

This reminds me of the Christmas day 3 years ago when we were preparing to leave for the family reunion. As I was loading the gifts to the car, I accidentally hit my glasses and it fell, shattering one lens. It was fortunate that I had the old glasses that I still can use otherwise it would be a spoiled Christmas.
