Day 66 Promise 95 Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. (KJV) Which side do you prefer to be on, the winning side or the losing side? I can hear you say the winning side. However, many people find themselves on the losing side. God gave His people two choices. One to follow Him and receive all His blessings. The other to reject Him and follow other gods. This option is yours today. God’s promise to bless you when you obey Him and accept His Son, Jesus, as your Savior is yours. So, is His curse when you reject Him and His Son. When you accept Jesus as Savior and Lord, you receive eternal life and all the blessings and promises God gave His people. When you reject God and His Son, your eternal destination is Hell. You have no other option available to you. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He who believes on him is not condemned: but he who believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he who does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. You always have a choice. Are you on the winning side? Have you accepted God and His Son, Jesus, and all the blessings He promised His people? Or are you on the losing side and rejected God and His Son, Jesus and all He offered His people? Let’s pray: Father, help me to always be on the winning side. Let Your blessings flood my life along with eternal life because I accepted Your Son, Jesus, as my Savior. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
