Cass Elliot also known as Mama Cass (although she hated that name) was part of the singing group, The Mamas & The Papas. They recorded the song "Words of Love" with Cass singing solo. This song demonstrates the pure quality of her voice and range. When the group broke up, Elliot went on to have a successful career and recorded five albums.
