Our Doomsday Cupboard

Given that our country is prone to earthquakes and typhoons, we make sure to stock up on basic provisions in the kitchen cupboard in case of emergency. Scary as it may sound, I call this our 'Doomsday Cupboard'. ;-P Well, you'll never know what sort of catastrophe might hit your area, right? So as the household manager and homemaker, I try to make sure that we've got food that won't spoil in the next 2 years... I wish I wouldn't have to stock up on canned goods, but it seems practical to do so. Plus, a few packs of grains and pasta and noodles. We also have lots of tissue paper, medicine, bottled liquids, and batteries. Actually they're not much. But filling up this cupboard gives me comfort and security. Especially when there's typhoon or when the political state of this nation becomes highly unstable or at risk. You never know. What's in your usual kitchen cupboard?
