One thing that the K9 Units that work with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) that is amazing is that they have the uncanny ability to find missing persons quickly.
A concerned relative in Shelby County called the authorities on Tuesday afternoon to report that a 3 year old child was missing.
SCSO Deputy Frank Bleigh answered the call to rescue the child along with his trusted partner K9 Bandit.
In a story that seems to be incredible, Bandit and his handler found the 3 year old child safe and sound.
The child was returned to his relatives who really appreciated the work of Officer Bleigh and Bandit for locating the child quickly.
It is nice to share stories of missing children on this site since I love to share some good news since we all can use some sunshine.

Dogs are very clever in finding lost persons due to their superb sense of smell.

@Alexandoy That is true since many police documentaries on television show that dogs are useful to find narcotics inside of autos and other places.

They also use dogs in the war to find enemies that are hiding.

I sure miss my former German Shepherd Thunder II who passed away from food poisoning several years ago. I have his ashes in my bedroom.
