Why Worry?

I know, it's never easy to stop our mind in the difficult situations. It's very much human to worry about various things that are happening around us, especially the ones which we are not acceptable.
But today, during my meditation session, one of my fellow asked me if I practice why worry concept.
Firstly, I wasn't really able to understand. But what he explained made some sense.
If there is a problem, and we have got a solution.... then why worry?
And if there is a problem, and we have no solution, and it's beyond our control....then why worry? May be, because we can't do anything about it.
I do agree to what he said. I made sense to me.
Do you think it's a kind of right approach???

I think worrying is always part of us... It just some worry in just a short period of time and others worry too much.

yepperz, that'd be my thoughts'n such, too. my mamaw 'twas a worrier 'f all thingies. when she'd nothin' 'r nobody to worry 'bout, she'd invent such'n her mind. i've found that my sweet momma seems to be now followin' that path. does nothin' but make ya ill.

I try to give all my worries to God, of course I'm not perfect at it but I find when I'm closer to Him I worry less. =)

I am a worrier although more often I could ignore petty problems.
