Milwaukee bus driver gets rewarded for her heroic deeds on the job

The Milwaukee County Transit System has some bus drivers that are real life heroes for doing wonderful deeds in their city while they are on the clock. The Milwaukee Fire Department honored Chanaye on Thursday with a honor of making her "Honorary Chief Of The Day." which is a reward that she richly deserved. Chanaye was driving her bus on January 5 of this year when she noticed a fire in an apartment. Channaye stopped the bus to see if she could do something to prevent a tragic event from happening by running to the burning apartment to alert the residents to leave the building as soon as possible. Then she went the extra mile by using a fire extinguisher to put out the flames before the firefighters arrived after a passenger aboard the bus called 911 to report the emergency. Chayane is a very modest person who simply mentioned that she was just doing her job to make sure that everyone under her watch is okay to live another day.
