I was very frustrated earlier coz my tummy is hurting again. I only have 30 minutes left in my Dialysis machine and how I dreaded those minutes left. And these Nurses are too loud with their laughing and it really annoys me. So when my Dialysis machine did it’s annoying sound too indicating that remaining 30 minutes has ended, one Intern technician guy fix my Machine and I can tell he has looks but entirely I didn’t see his whole face and there is this Nurse who attended me asking the guy about where he lives, and how long are they going to stay here for their internship smiling, oh wait flirting. Yes, she’s flirting. She ask him about his schedule, smiling. What bother’s me is what she does to my arm, she rolled the plaster all over my thin arm and it’s too messy. Now, I’m having a hard time looking for the tip to take it off. What can you say? Is it a bad or good? Especially when you are work.

While work, on should maintain professionalism! In my opinion, healthy and unforced flirting is acceptable..

It sounds like she was distracted while she was putting the plaster on. That is no good. When I think of "plaster" I think of the material they use in making casts for people who have broken or sprained something. Are you referring to a band-aid?

@JustBhem Oh okay, I see. Would it be possible to use soap and water to help remove it?

It depends on the timing of flirting. I think flirting is okay if it is done in the right place and time. During work time it should be avoided since it can distract their focus on the work they are doing. They can do that after work and do what they want but during their work they should never do that.

@JustBhem maybe you could complain that to their superiors. They should be working not talking to each other of personal things especially that the patients can hear what they are talking about.

@rsa101 I wanted to but I’m afraid. I think I will pass on it and if the next time she’ll do that again. Then I will.

I think flirting is just normal. It is one way of releasing pent up emotion.

I think it is not good if a person is flirting with somebody and not paying attention to their work.

I think so too. I mean there’s nothing wrong with flirting but not around with your patients and in your work. It’s not so professional.

@JustBhem it is not professional at all. A person could lose their job for that if it affects their performance on the job.

Well, it could be good as long as they can still perform their works well but if not then that's a different story...

And she did not. What she did to my arm was she rolled the plaster all over my arm and it hurts coz it’s pressing my skin and the thing is, it took me a lot of minutes removing the plaster which is so hard for me using my right hand.

That’s unprofessional of her to mix flirting and working. You should have been her priority.

I was mad at her last night Sol. Aside from that she’s too loud as well, laughing didn’t even bother about those patients who are resting while having their treatments. I wanted to say something in between their flirting but Yaan was watching me and give me a blink so I just shut up.

It is good if you are in the right place. But at work especially a nurse, it’s not.
