They Have Got to Be Kidding

There is talk of another outage this weekend, and honestly it’s getting ridiculous there has been no official warning last time we only got about 36 hours of earning which is a bit ridiculous and due to this outage and the lack of time to prepare a boy lost his life! PGE even said they aren’t sure the outages made a difference, so if they are so uncertain why risk more lives? It’s not bad enough that a young boy lost his life due to this outage? I’m hoping the rumor is just that a rumor because we have a lot of people who rely on electricity and not everyone up here has generators!

It is a shame that the fires in your area are causing you some major troubles.

@Michellekidwell It is even worse than dealing with flooding in Louisiana.

A power outage that too often is really ridiculous and a torment.

Yes there needs to be warning. When we had storms to knock out the power I was afraid for Tony, I bought a small solar power unit so I can get him breathing treatments.

Oh my goodness, so many things are being affected because of these outages. I hope the company though I doubt it because that company is absolutely awful, pays for the cause of the damage for the poor family that lost their boy, that is just sick that there has been no warnings or anything.

There was only like a day and a half warning for the greater part of Northern California to prepare, it’s ridiculous really! Yes the company is known for causing trouble but they have the monopoly in NorCal!

When the power went out, the pacemaker couldn’t reach the phone lines allowing it to function properly from what I understand!

@Michellekidwell That is not good news that the boy lost his life due to an outage. Outages are not fun but such a young life to lose is not good.
