Way to go Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter!

Mr. Carter just turned 95 on October 1st. The only former president to ever reach this age...and he is still going strong! Jimmy said that he never thought he would ever live this long; but contributes it to his faith, devotion to human rights, disease prevention, and fair elections. He and his wife's greatest accomplishment is being involved with Habitat For Humanity. In over 35 years, they have helped fix and/or built 4,300 homes for low income families in 14 countries. These numbers are staggering and incredible! His next October project will be in Nashville, TN. To think that Mr. Carter (and lets not forget Mrs. Carter) are still building and fixing homes at the ages of 92 and 95; is very difficult for me to wrap my mind around it... Talk about putting their lives to good use after retirement. These two have surely done it! If we could all be this diligent and committed to helping the less fortunate; our world would be in a much better place than it is now.
