Unexpected stuff...

I got to the Health Center, and thought I was going to see my usual health care provider, but instead I got directed to this group setting, which I wasn't comfortable with at all, I felt as though I'd been ambushed. I am not a group person--I told my regular provider that, and I said nothing almost the whole time.
A while after that was over, I saw my new therapist, and I was still feeling uncomfortable from the whole unexpected group thing, so I didn't feel like that went very well, either.
Oi. Well, like a friend of mine is fond of saying, "some days are like that". I prefer to think: "All things work together for good." I don't know what good would've come out of that, but God knows.
When I got home, there was a call on the answering machine from my regular provider's nurse, saying she wanted to ask me something about my last visit to my provider.
So I called back, and she asked me how many milligrams I was taking of one of my meds, as recently my provider bumped it up to 40. Then she said something about 20 milligrams, and I said, no, my provider never gave me 20, I was still taking 10. So the nurse said I probably shouldn't go to 40 from 10, as that was an awfully big jump (I agreed, as when I was prescribed 40 mg. I thought it was an awfully big jump too!).
The nurse then made me an appointment with my regular provider tomorrow. Ai-yi...
Anyway, I kind of feel like I wasted my morning, but...

I don't have the experience but I guess you need to familiarize with the new therapist for now.

Yes I hope all things work together for good...only God knows Stacey I agree.
Well my take on that is that they want you to have as many appointments as possible so they can charge your insurance and make as much money for themselves as possible.
That is what they are good at here.
That was highly unfair to put you into a group setting. That would be a no no for me as well.
