Today my 7 year old has his 7 year wellness check up. My husband took him because I told him he will fight when it comes to the flu shot and he is starting to get to strong for me to hold him down. It seemed like it was a good choice form what my husband said. Our boy weighs 56lbs and is 49inch tall. He is around 65% on the growth chart which puts him in the middle for other boys around his age.
He got his flu shot and she gave my husband a list of doctors for his anxiety. We want to try to help limit the amount of anxiety attacks he gets and when he feels them. Doctors make him very scared and anxiety to build up.

Children grow up so fast. It's good that they go to the doctors for wellness check ups too.

@oahuwriter they get whatever shots are required there are some like the flu shot that is optional. There records state that all are up to date. I think our 4.5 year old needs his flu and one booster shot but I could be wrong. His yearly check up isn’t till February because his birthday is in January.

Good that he got his flu shot. I get anxiety when I go to the doctor. It always shoots my blood pressure why up.

Good that you got him the flu shot. It is good that you can find a way of helping with his anxiety. I went through panic attacks in my young adulthood and ever since my nerves are shot and I have to keep a tight reign on them, So it is good that he is still a child and perhaps his anxiety will lessen with time

Maybe we are trying to work on it. His dad takes medication for his anxiety.

Anxiety attacks can be neutralized according to our physician.

Not neutralized less often if not calm him back down but you have to see a behavioralist or a therapist. We think a therapist would be a better choice so they can better pin what all his triggers are. We know a few

And I thought my nephew can be tough to handle when he visits doctors for his medical check ups since he has special needs.

Everyone is different my other two are easier. He is a lot like me when it comes to fight but he has his daddy’s anxiety and his dad does have an anxiety disorder. In some case it’s genetic but not in all.
