Life guard dresses are provided in the speed boats in Maldives.

When travellers are transferred from airport to the islands in Maldives or between 2 islands like Fun Island Resort and Robinson Island they are given life guard dresses. These are protection in case anything happens to the boat, the travellers wont drown in the waters.

Thanks Kokilji, greetings. Whenever it is in sea or ocean or even river, there is risk of drowning. So that is a safeguard.

@sathviksouvik yes...even in small lakes when we go for boating a safety gear is mandatory
