Yay, It's Friday!

Even though I am retired and no longer work, I look forward to Fridays. This Friday is especially nice because I didn't see much of my husband at all this week with all of his out of town business.
The second reason I'm looking forward to tomorrow is that my daughter, Ashley, is coming to visit. That means I will get to see my grandchildren, Payton and Christian. Christian has started walking in the last two weeks and I haven't observed this big accomplishment yet. I can't wait to see them!
My daughter wants to go to the flea market. She loves to shop there. It is kind of ironic that we are leaving hubby at home, but he will get over it.
It is a brisk morning here and I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee. My mom still hasn't gotten up. I have tried the coffee bribe and also muffins in the oven to tempt her but it hasn't worked as of yet. I am on my way back in her room to try to force her up. It's after 10 am and time to get up. I don't want her to get off her medication schedule.
What are you looking forward to this weekend? Anything special? Any festivals or fairs going on in your region?

What business does your husband do in town ?
I'm looking for a total recovery from my second cold already this winter. I just stopped with garlic for 3 days and got sick. I am back eating garlic and my cold backs off. Like a charm. :-)

@kareng good and responsible job he has. I am a security guard basic level. Good luck for your husband. I wish he catches criminals and protect many people.

@kareng I got bad luck 2 days ago, I was too tired after night shift, I couldn't stay awake and bumped into a car in a traffic jam. The damage was 2000 ILS for me and the car I bumped into, it needs to change bumper, an expensive car, Nisan Japan JHAT32, brand new car :-(
I was too many hours awake and could not avoid falling asleep.

wonderful that ms. ashley 'tis comin' fer a visit with those sweet babes'n tow. such precious ages to be :) my youngest'll prolly be walkin' by the time i see him next.
interestin' yer momma doesn't wish to rise. hopefully ya got such worked out with her.
bummer y'all aint spendin' more time with yer hubs. then 'gain, he might 'njoy the peace'n quiet fer a bit.
if'n any such monkeys'd be goin', i'd not be privy to such. 'tis been'n awful weekend.

That is going to be awesome to see your grandson walk for the first time! I look forward to those days when I get to see big milestones with my own grandchildren. But that's a ways off. Neither of my two kids are planning on having babies anytime soon.
My exciting adventure for this weekend is a camping trip. But lo and behold a tropical storm decided to pop up and hit us, so I am now camping in the pouring down rain! Yay for me! As you can see by the fact that I'm on myLot, there's not much else going on right now. It's pouring down rain, we're under a tornado watch, and it's been like this for the past 24 hours. So here I sit in my tent trying to make the most of a bad situation!
{Yet despite the circumstances, we are all having a great time! I even built a campfire in the pouring down rain last night}

@kareng I agree! Cards are easy to pack, lightweight, and can keep you occupied for hours at the campsite.
