Depicting Our Culture in Mural 1

In line with the observation of tourism month, our city government holds a mural painting contest.
There are 16 local artists have participated. The above mural is the first one. It shows our major landmarks.
He emphasizes our Pasalamat Festival. It is depicted by a festival queen with a beautiful headdress. You can also see a red rooster which boost our rooster raising industry for a sports.
Watch for other 15 murals coming.

That's how our culture is preserved and being promoted. These artists have a good grasp of our folklore, mores and culture.

I am a big fan of Mural art and have done a bit smaller ones myself. That's interesting and such a nice way to encourage tourism in the country and also local artists. I came to this post when I saw your recent one. I didn't want to miss any.

I love murals! Many owners of buildings here are now hiring artists to paint murals on the outside of their buildings and many are fantastic and brighten up a neighborhood!

I do love murals too. I do appreciate the artist's skill to do it in a big wall by scaling it.
