The artist selected our century old Church as his piece for mural painting.
He wanted to show to the public viewers that historical value of Our Lady Parish Church which was formally earned her parish status in 1876.
This beautiful century old church is of Romanesque architectural design made of coral stones and Silay red bricks.
It's now 143 years old. It's still serving the Catholic faithfuls in our small city of La Carlota.
This the 2nd mural painted by another local artist in line with our month of observance of tourism. The artist scales on one of the spans of perimeter fence...

That is a nice painting. So Mural Painting is different from Canvas? And are Oil Paints used or water colors?

@MALUSE You're wrong. That mural is already 3 years old. It's still there on the perimeter fence of the private school along the main city street. The paint didn't fade.

Mural is different from canvas. It uses oil painting and multimedia. They are 2D or 3D. Many are for outdoors and so are made such that they can withstand weather conditions. They use multimedia too.

I think that's oil paint for it's still there since 2016.
