Pasalamat festival dancers are the theme of the next mural painter. Every May 1st is the culminating activities of a week-long Pasalamat festival. Street dancing is one of highlights of this people-packed tourism program of our city. Dancers coming from the 14 barangay of the city, donned with colorful festival costumes were dancing on the streets to the Pasalamat beat. Their dance moves were contagious for the onlookers couldn't resist to join. The samba beat originally introduced by our late mayor gave the true rhythm of the dancing steps of the participants. The street dancing ended up at the public plaza for a grand arena dance competition.
