Old man beaten out of false accusation

There's an incident that happened the other at the mini bus ( most calls it e-jeep). The mini bus made a sudden stop and the old man nearly fell down but good thing he was holding the rail.
But the lady near him thinks he was faking it and trying sexually advance her. So, after she transferred to another seat then starts trash talking this guy.
Before she went down she tried to him and the old man tried to hit back. Sadly, her friends, sibling came up to beat him all the way to the community office.
Now, it has gotten the attention of the popular show "TULFO" and there she became a sheep begging the old man's forgiveness. Sadly, the old man wants to sue them and put them to jail for violence / serious physical injury

It went viral. I watched the whole part 1,2 and 3 last night.
The old man did the right thing because the lady was too maarte and she even lied that the old man was drunk and so he did something for her.
I will be watching the Part 4 later.

Yup, he should file a case. It's good there's a CCTV inside that e-jeep or else, people will believe what the young woman said. In the initial interview in GMA7, she said that she had trauma after what happened and that she could not eat anymore. But she had an FB live after the incident and she was eating. Netizens are so alert in these cases that are posted online.

Hello @brokenbee Without that CCTV that old man would never stand a chance against her and her family. People should behave more now because there's a show like this and helps the public.

I saw that video the one in the incident and the one with Tulfo. I think the man looks drunk because of his tired look. The woman might have felt that she is being harassed by how the man looked at him. She could have left the scene but peacefully but she still made an aggressive move towards the old man which aggravated the situation. Her calling for her relatives further aggravated the situation. The Barangay did not even investigated the situation carefully that is why it reached the police station which relied on the Barangay's report and took it as the truth. With it they presumed that the person was already guilty and forced him to ask forgiveness to his assailants. Such tragic thing to happen to him.

Hello @rsa101 He was tired from work and his legs was definitely weak from the looks of the cctv. She was related to the Brgy. Captain and the cop made a mistake trying to negotiate these two. If only this lady was showing chivalry.

@Letranknight2015 Oh that is too bad for him for siding with the wrong person. As Barangay Captain he should not hastily confront someone without investigating the situation there and judge by mere accusation from one side of the story. I think even the police should also be held accountable for handling the case clumsily.

@Nakitakona The CCTV footage is enough evidence to show that there was no intent on the part of the man to harass the lady. The car just bump into something that made the old man out of balance that is why he kind of leaned over but he never touched her or made any attempt to.

Yes the old man did the right thing because they accused him of something he never did. Those culprit should put behind bars to a lessons to others.
