Day 80 Promise 109 Joshua 23:10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is who fights for you, as he hath promised you. Every day you can turn on the news, read a newspaper, or get all your news on the Internet. You hear about all the devastating things people do to each other. What are you doing about it? Joshua told the people they could chase a thousand because God fights for them. One person could chase a thousand of their enemies. Two people put ten thousand to flight. Deuteronomy 32:30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? (KJV) Isaiah 30:17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on a hill. As Christians, you do not need to tolerate your enemy or let him have dominion over you. You have God on your side. You can tell him to flee and he must flee. You can say to the mountain, go, and it must go. Satan comes against you to destroy you. He comes against you with people who will do everything they can to destroy your lives, your children, and your ministry. If you let him. Don’t let him. Take your stand against Satan right now. Take up the battle armor, and call upon God to fight for you. His promise to you throughout the Bible is that He will fight for you. Take Him up on His promise. Hold Him accountable to His Word and watch Him fight for your children, your life, your ministry, and everything you hold dear. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. (KJV) Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. (KJV) Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says. John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Acts 16:31 And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.’ (KJV) Who are you fighting for? Call on God to deliver them from Satan’s hand and He will fight for you and deliver them from your enemy, Satan. You do not fight against flesh and blood, but against all the powers of darkness. You have power through the blood of Jesus to fight and cause to flee, everything that comes against you. Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The demons of hate, malcontent, slander, and sin of every kind are what you fight against. These are what you chase with the Word of God. With God fighting for you, you can put a thousand of those demons to flight. With people standing with you calling on God, you can put every demon to flight until you shine like a beacon because God is on your side fighting for you. You do not fight alone. Let’s pray: Father, I stand in my armor with the sword of truth in my hands. Fight for me against my enemy, Satan and every demon he sends against me. I call on You today to release my loved ones from Satan’s grip. Bring joy and hope into their lives as they turn to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
