It burned for 13-1/2 hours. 1966 - The Supremes became the first all-female music group to attain a Number 1 selling album (The Supremes A' Go-Go). 1942 - Annette Funicello was born. She was an American actress and singer. She was a child performer at the age of 12 and gained popularity when she became a Mouseketeer on the Mickey Mouse Club. She had a hit single with "Tall Paul" (below-watch just for the clothing, etc. of the era) and was famous for the Beach Party genre of movies with co-star Frankie Avalon. She died in 2013 from complications of multiple sclerosis. 1952 - Jeff Goldblum was born. He is an American actor, producer and musician. He has starred in some of the highest-grossing movies of his era: Jurassic Park and Independence Day and their sequels, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Independence Day: Resurgence. Some of his other movies: Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Big Chill, The Fly, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, The Tall Guy, Cats & Dogs and Thor: Ragnarock.
