This is the 13th painting of 16 murals by the local artists.
It features the 5 landmarks of our city of La Carlota such as "Balay Daku", Muscovado Sugarcane mill, Old Century Church, Iron Dinosaur, and Twin falls.
I have already discussed about the 4 landmarks except "Balay Daku" or the ancestral house of the Infante (Infante Heritage House).
It's owned by Don Teodolfo M. Infante. It was built in 1929. On December 12, 2001, it was recognized by the National Historical Institute and put a historical marker there.
Several local filmmakers had made some movies there as their site location.

Means " big house" in hiligaynon and ilonggo dialects, that house must be haunted lol. Are Don Teodolfo's dependants still around?

Yes. It's not a haunted house. There's a caretaker that lives there.
