Yesterday we had our daughters 3rd grade conference. I never what to except when we go in. We where extremely surprised with what the teacher said. Our girl has been struggling and for the past to test just to keep up with her peers. Which is hard when you have a learn disability. They said she was joy to have and just the sweetest little kid they have had. That she writes like all of time leaving notes for her teachers and her friends. She gets along with everything (which we already know typical first child she aims to please and help others before herself). What we where amazed at was her scores she jumped a lot in reading rounding her average up to 99% in reading (this is a kid who reads at a 1 grade level mostly) she is around 57% when it comes to math which is slightly above where they want her to be at. They to see these two go up more by the end of the year. So they want her to push herself to read some hard books more at a 3rd grade level. They say her tools are there and she knows to use them and a lot of time they don’t even need ask her any more. I plan on getting her a little something from the store this weekend.

She had a 99% growth she still averages 77% but that is still a big leap
