14 diyas are lit on the 1st day of Diwali in India. Among them there are many Lord Ganesha diyas where the diya is made in the shape of Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is the elephant God. They are lit up with mustard oil and cotton. At night when all the diyas and the candles are lit up they look beautiful.
