Chicago is an American rock band "with horns" which was formed in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1968 they were known as the Chicago Transit Authority but shortened their name to Chicago in 1969. They play a blend of classical, jazz, R&B and pop. They are one of the longest-running (active since 1967 to present), and most successful rock groups and one of the best-selling groups of all time.
