Am I A Bad Person??

Kaylee is a senior this year and that means that she needs to have senior pictures done. Originally, the plan was to have a professional photographer do them but the lady we were going to hire lives 4 hours away from us and would cost $150. So, I decided that I would take them using my Iphone and while they wouldn’t be as good as they would be professionally, they would still look good. Well, I decided to be a nice person and try to save a friend of mine, Alison, some money and offer to do her grandson’s pictures as well. She happily agreed and then we set out to find cap and gowns for the two kids to wear. We were able to borrow them from my sister’s neighbor who graduated last year. Last week, we were supposed to take the senior pictures but Alison’s grandson refused to do them because he hadn’t gotten his haircut. Mind you, we have had the cap and gowns two weeks by this time and Alison was the one to pick the day. So when she cancelled, I took Kaylee out and took some pics. I got 2 really good ones out of the 15 we took and I think one of them is the one we are sending in for the yearbook. Tomorrow, we are supposed to be getting together (me, Kaylee, Alison and Eric) to take the rest of the photos, including two outfit changes. I’ve told Kaylee that if they flake on us again then we are just going to do the pictures ourselves and return the cap and gowns. Alison has excuse after excuse about the pictures. She has an Iphone Xplus and says her camera sucks while I have an iphone 8 but the pictures have been coming out pretty well. She texted me today to say that if it rains like her husband says it will, then she can’t do the pictures and that “we” will have to pull the kids out of school to get them done. I am not pulling Kaylee out of school to do pictures and Alison knows that. Am I a bad person if I just decided to do Kaylee’s pictures on my own and leave Alison to fend for herself and figure it all out? Deadline for pictures is Nov 15th. That’s the last day they can be approved by and I want to get the pictures in early so that if they say certain ones can’t be used for whatever reason, we have time to choose different ones.

I would just go ahead and get mine done. The other family can take care of their own.

That's exactly how I feel right now. My schedule was easy enough to move around to work with hers but now that my sister has broken her ankle, I feel like I am scrambling to make sure everything I need to get done actually gets done.
