I finally did it....and now I'm in pain...

I'm not sure if I posted about this topic before but for years, I have been wanting to get my tattoo that my uncle's ex wife gave me, covered up.
Well on Tuesday, I finally got it done. I got a tribal dragon in the place of the hardy boyz symbol as I haven't been a wrestling fan for quite a few years now.
I will admit that having this tattoo done is ALOT different than before. Not only does it look professional but I believe that she went alot deeper than before.
Add that to it being a cover up and you could probably guess how much it hurt. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to except in a few spots and it is quite a big bigger than I had expected but I love it. Now I just wish that it would stop itching and twinging every so often.
I have body wash and lotion to put on it and it's been flaking so I'm hoping once all the scabs are gone, the pain and the itchiness will soon follow.
AND.....this is the first time I have spent any money on myself where I didn't feel guilty!!

Tattoos aren't for everyone lol. That's what I keep telling Kaylee. She wants one but is afraid of the pain so we shall see lol.

@Starkinds that’s what she’s afraid of. With me however, I have a high pain threshold. I fell asleep during my tattoo.

What tattoos do you have? Where do you have them? Right now, I only have the one on my left arm but this summer, I'm going to be getting another. Either right arm or back of my neck.

@dodo19 I’m going to be getting a big tattoo on my left arm. Like a cherry blossom tree but instead of flowers, have paw prints. Possibly over the summer.

Well I happen to love tattoos and I am getting more. My entire right arm will be covered in fact. Possibly in paw prints.
