On the 3rd day of Diwali, Laxmipuja is done by Hindus in India. The rooms are cleaned. Then beautiful alpona is given with rice powder. The white artistic alpona makes the rooms look beautiful. The Hindus offer fruits and flowers to Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth.

Thanks Jayaji the usage of cleaning up houses and putting up new lights in Diwali is a good tradition in India.
