I know how Stephanie Rankin must have felt when some criminals broke into her home in Mesa Arizona to steal a special bicycle that belonged to her son Beorn "Bubba" Rankin who is 14 years of age that has a rare disease that requires his parents and caretakers to be close to him at all times.
The bicycle that they purchased for Bubba cost around $500 dollars. However it is very useful for Bubba to ride for his therapy and be with his family.
Stephanie did tell her story to Facebook as well as to the local television stations as a plea for help for someone to assist her in her time of need.
An employee at AMS Vans which is located in Phoenix Arizona saw the news report.
The company management decided to replace the stolen bicycle to the Rankin family free of charge since the Rankin family is one of their clients.
When the community pitched in and gave Stephanie a new bicycle to replace the special bicycle that was stolen, she praised people for helping her out instead of ignoring her pleas for help.
I am sure that bad karma will find the bicycle thieves who stole Bubba's bicycle for whatever reasons other than getting their kicks of stealing other people's property.

This is such a wonderful story, but of course, it was better if the bike never got stolen at all. My people have no mercy! Locally too not too long ago a few months back, a Senior Citizen in a wheelchair was attacked and robbed at a bus stop my gosh they are so very vulnerable and one of the weakest people up and about...so sad something happened to both of them. Life gave them a big blow already, so sad something happened to them. $500 for a bike is very expensive too. So good and kind for people to help Mrs. Rankin and her family.

@oahuwriter I agree with you Stephanie was amazed that her community came to her aid instead of shunning her.

I can just imagine for the cost is not too big but it's not just $5 either! It's so much needed for her child too. I'm so glad they got the help they needed.

A person who steals from a victim because he or she cannot fight back is a coward in my view.

I am glad the bike was replaced but if the thieves broke into the home they had to have known what kind of bike it was and therefore might even be someone the family knows or even neighbors,

You have a good point there since the crooks may have wanted to harm Bubba and his relatives for whatever reason.

That is true since it is a mentality of "I do not care who I hurt."

Stealing a bicycle from a child who has special needs is a very shameful act.

The company that replaced the stolen bicycle will be blessed in the future for their assistance to Bubba's family to replace the bicycle that was stolen.
