Ronnie Foster had the good fortune of having two great events happen to him on one day,
The first good stroke of luck happened when he went to a store to buy some scratch home lottery tickets in Pink Hill North Carolina that netted him the grand prize of $200,000 dollars.
The second stroke of good luck happened when he went t the local hospital for his final round of chemotherapy for colon cancer.
Ronnie is playing his good fortune correctly by saying that he will use the lottery winnings to pay off his medical bills and the remainder of the money will be used to live in retirement.
Talk about having a very good day for someone that seems to be a very happy person that he has been cured of colon cancer and being able to pay off his medical bills by purchasing a few scratch off lottery tickets that will make it easier to pay off his medical bills for his cancer treatment that his insurance company could not cover.

@amitkokiladitya That is so true since winning the grand prize in a scratch off game is a very long shot.

@Deepizzaguy I sure hope he does since there are a few people who experience that luck and he is one lucky one to have those in one day. So better make sure that it stays longer for him.

i think most people do that when they win something big - pay their debts and bills first - so it's a weight off their shoulders.

Pay off debts is the first priority for the majority of lottery winners.

You are correct since the odds of winning a huge lottery jackpot are very long against any of us.

Ronnie certainly is lucky that he won the lottery and is cured of colon cancer. That extra money for retirement will come in handy.

hopefully based on being a former DMV person, they will make him wait in line to get his money!

He sure is lucky. I am in a dilemma I cannot afford to buy lottery tickets all the time and I cannot afford to not buy them now and then

That is true since when does a person get two lucky breaks like that in one day? I cannot name one person that can claim that besides Ronnie.
