After a bit of fight not physically. My 4.5 year old gave up on trying to get his way. A win for me and my husband. We teamed up and decided to try a different way to get this boy to sleep. Just kept putting him back into bed. Everything else wasn’t working so we will go with this one. After crying for an hour he just couldn’t go anymore. He used his talking voice said he’s stop crying and if he stayed quite long enough would I turn the big light on. I told him yes if he could be a good boy. Now 30 minutes later it’s quite. He’s a sleep, his siblings are a sleep.

It is, but when someone doesn’t listen it’s only option left. Warnings and things being taken away where not cutting it.

@samysotelo18 he is our 3rd so he might get spoiled from time to time but we do try to rain in on you are not the boss we still are. There are moments and time where all children need a little spoiling but not every day all day.

I was an only child and about a half-hour before bedtime, my mom played hide and seek with me to get me all tired out. I was the one who did the hiding and mom the seeking,

My 4.5 year old is naturally a night owl. He likes to bother his siblings who are trying to sleep. They have school and next year so does he. We spend most of the day outside of the house getting errands done.
