...not the walk, so much, but the time we took.
We went down the street that goes behind us, and then partway down the street that connects to it.
When we got to a certain point, we crossed the street and went back the other way.
We went past the yard of a lady who was out gardening, and we talked for about ten minutes about this and that an the other, and then a few doors down some people were having a garage sale, and the ladies saw Angel and were going "Awww, what a cute dog." so we stopped and chatted with them for another ten or fifteen minutes.
After that we went down a few more houses, and saw a guy we'd met before and hadn't seen for a while, so we stopped and chatted with him for ten or fifteen more minutes.
LOL---so, we had ourselves a long walk -- or at least, we took really long to do it !

What's refreshing to hear about your walk is the fact that you actually talked to your neighbors. You wouldn't believe how many people these days don't even know who their neighbors are, or don't take the time to talk to them. We have become so isolated and anti-social these days that it is very disheartening. I talk with my neighbors all the time, and we all look out for each other. In the previous neighborhood I lived in, nobody talked to each other.
