Armageddon in our own domicile.

Mentioned in the Book of Revelation only once, Armageddon has been a theme of many a dystopian movie plots. Although fictional, nothing far from the dire reality the besets the world. Armageddon is very real. I do believe that we are living now in the Apocalyptic Age, the Yemeni Running in 2008 probably the precursor of the four horsemen that pervaded our senses and our beings. I leave the theological explanation to the apologists. They are the learned, My concern is the daily disaster that occurs sporadically. The month of October alone has got California in flames and Cotabato in Mindanao shaking bad. My sister in Los Angeles who did panic during an evacuation alert advised me to stock up in case the Cotabato quakes somehow affect the West Valley Fault the line of which I reside. Sigh. Armageddon is the final battle place. I suppose there lies the metaphor, we make the stand on our own respective domicile. Do your best to win. I would.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology is monitoring the possible movement in the Malungon fault line, which can produce a magnitude-7.2  earthquake, after the magnitude 6.5 temblor that struck Tulunan, Cotabato on Thursday morning. Cu

Many people are blind to the signs around them.

True. My concern is it is implied in the same book the watchman's duty to nudge.

You are right, Armageddon is definitely real, but many people don't believe it. I just finished reading Revelation and it's very enlightening, those things are symbols, yet God is showing us what will happen in the near future.

Man has the free will to decide for his self what he wants to believe. A blessing for those who heard and heed, not every one realize the immensity of believing. The symbols always stand for something. We decipher these symbols the best way we can - literally, empirically, logically. We know what these symbolism stand for now, the main problem is man's complacency and indifference.

@eileenleyva The Word of God is considered 'foolishness' to a nonbeliever, their spiritual eyes have not been opened yet. The Lord opens our spiritual eyes(when we're saved), then we can see the truth and the Truth shall set us free. We don't fear those things in Revelation, any longer.
