Disheartened by Demise of 14 Relatives, Superstitious Man Dressed Up as Bride for 30 Yrs to Ward Off Death. So, this is quite a news that came up in the Google feed. This Indian man is really fearful of death so much that he did such a deed out of fear. If you want to read his saga, I can share you the link, but the story of his life is really full of pain of losing loved ones!
Every day since the past 30 years, Chintaharan Chauhan of Hauzkhas village in Jalalpur, dresses up as a bride - complete with a red sari, huge nose ring, bangles and 'jhumkas' — to ward off death.

Fascinating. But I wonder if that second wife really returned and asked him to do that??? or was it just a guilty conscience? We will never know, right?
