I have to give my respects to a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) supervisor named John O' Connor who was working at the Coliseum Station on Sunday after the conclusion of the Detroit Lions vs, Oakland Raiders football game on Sunday. John was there to make sure that all of passengers that were waiting for a subway to take them to their destination would be safe. One man who might have been drunk accidently fell on the tracks just before a subway train that coming in to the station that could not stop on a dime due to the high speed would have struck him and most likely ended his life. John managed to reach over the passenger line to grab the man's hand and pull him back to the platform just as the subway ran by to stop at the station to drop off and pick up the passengers. The man who live was saved by John gave his hero a huge of appreciation. Despite John being praised for being a hero, he insists that he was just doing his work as a supervisor at the train station to do his duty to make sure that all of the passengers at the station would be safe and sound.

John will likely be rewarded by his employer for saving the life of one person who was nearly killed by an oncoming train in a subway station in Oakland.

@amitkokiladitya Saving a life at a subway station that was recorded by a close circuit camera deserves a huge reward.

This reminds me of the news of a woman fainting and falling to the tracks. It was fortunate that quick-thinking guys were able to retrieve her safely.
