I am one of the guys when surrounded with mechanics. Still, my mechanics of friends insist that I sit at the lube lounge whenever they work on my old car. Not a place for a lady, they say, when I sit on greasy stools. Or, they just feel uncomfortable being watched when they work, especially with my chatterbox of a tongue nagging. So, I did wait on the air-conditioned lounge playing candy crash. On a table next to mine sat four men with light beers and pizza. The pep talk on the youngest of the group was overpowering, for, I gathered, he was on rehab and with medication. I stole a glance to check the patient, and yes, he did need the help. Yet, I did feel perplexed with the suggestions the guys were offering for healing. They did want him to be better through relaxation, drinking and women. Good thing I was good at candy crash and didn't need to stir on my seat for hours. Eavesdropping isn't healthy.
