She is an America actress and singer. She is best known for her role on the TV sitcom, "One Day at a Time" and her appearance in the movie, "American Graffiti". She also appeared in the Disney Channel's science fiction show, "So Weird". Mackenzie is the daughter of John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas and half-sister to Chynna Phillips. 1969 - Ellen Pompeo was born. She is an American actress, director and producer. She is one of the highest paid actresses in the world. In 2017 she signed a contract with ABC for an annual payment of $20 million for "Grey's Anatomy" in which she plays Dr. Meredith Grey.
