Honoring my Dad Today and Every Day

I know many of us are writing about today being Veteran's Day. And I think it is important to remember all of the veterans, both alive and those who gave all.
My Dad fought in the army and the Korean War many years ago. Thankfully he survived. He never talked much about it and I respected that.
Missing him more today than ever. Two years seems like an eternity some days. Miss his phone calls. Another reason talking to his brother, my uncle, helps in many ways.
Happy Veteran's Day for those celebrating. And if you have a family member you are honoring.
Thank you for your service to our country.

Sorry about your father. This is a good day to honor him. My husband was in the Army and in Korea as well.

Yes I too Honor my Dad today and all my Uncles and Grandfathers on both sides, all military. My Father was a Merchant Marine. RIP all and your family too Carol.
