Why people go an easy tel number?

I do not give out my telephone number, especially over the internet. Why would you post yours on the internet for millions to see? I don't think that is a safe or smart thing to do. There are a ton of sick people out there... and a phone number is basically giving out your location. People can track down your location, and all it takes is a simple phone number. Be careful.
