An all day affair...

Hello, myLotters !
Well, a gentleman at church told me that I could come with him to the Veteran's Day parade with him today (I had mentioned that I wasn't looking forward to spending another birthday alone).
Well, he picked me up at 9:30 am, and come to find out the parade didn't start until 1 p.m.
We had lunch at the fish and chips place downtown, then I watched the parade while he and the other guy he was with (they both belong to different Vet's groups) did some Vet stuff at the nearby park. During the parade I took about 57 pictures, about 54 of which turned out (like the one above). 
After the parade they were there for another half hour or so, then we went to the Vet's building so they could do some stuff, I had a hot dog there, then after we were done there, we went to dinner at an Applebee's restaurant.
When I got home, I walked and fed Angel, and answered the three phone calls that were on the answering machine. I had no clue that I was going to be gone all day. 
So, it was a different sort of birthday, but I didn't spend it alone.
