Ol' Benajmin Franklin had a few skeletons in the basement

Nope, I'm not saying that wrong. I know the saying is "a few skeletons in the closet", but in this case I really mean the basement. Of course, the basement of his London home used to be a garden, and probably was in the days he lived there. Ol' Mr. Franklin wasn't a mass murderer either, atleast not that anybody is aware of. The bones came from Resurrectionist that delivered the bodies to his friend William Hewson, who would dissect them. Over 1,200 bones were discovered and found to belong to people of all ages. The house is Georgian {we have OLD stuff over here!} so the basement has probably always been a basement! I wonder if Franklin knew what Hewson was doing; it would have been a little on the illegal side.

That article said it was originally a garden, or maybe they said it might have been? I think that Franklin did know what was going on but was to curious about the process and the findings to care about the illegality of it.

@amitkokiladitya For Science. This was done in the name of science and discovery. Though there were those who wanted to prove that a body could be re-animated and come alive again.

It is really creepy. I mean, I know they looked at it in a scientific way, but our modern minds can't quite wrap around the fact that they stole bodies to dissect.
