He is an American-Italian filmmaker, actor, director and historian. He has won many awards for his direction. Some of the movies that he has directed: Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, Casino, Wolf of Wall Street, Aviator and Shutter Island. 1944 - Danny DeVito is born. He is an American actor, director, producer and filmmaker. He is remembered for his role as Louie De Palma in Taxi (1978-1983). He won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his work in that series. He currently plays Frank Reynolds on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2006-present).
